Where do the materials come from?
Individuals and businesses donate materials to the Habitat ReStore. Some items are brand new and still in the wrapper, while others are used. Habitat looks at all materials and determines if it can be used in a future Habitat home. Those materials are set aside for that purpose, helping the Habitat to keep construction cost down. Materials that Habitat is unable to use in the building of a home are placed in the ReStore for sale. Funds from the ReStore are utilized to cover Habitat operating expenses thus allowing donations to be used for construction of homes.
What are the prices like?
